Welcome! If you are a new poster to this blog, please read before posting.

Welcome!

I made a chocolate cake yesterday and as I put it in the oven I suddenly had a flash memory of my mother's (Foy Lou Rhodes Eaton) voice calling through the house, "Len (my brother) and Linda, I've got a cake in the oven now! Don't ya'll be running through the house and make it fall!"
I had to chuckle and when I told Logan(my youngest son) the story, I thought to myself it would be great to start recording some family memories.
Long story short, Logan has helped me create this blog where we can all share family stories. I'm excited to think that our generations of grandchildren, great nieces and nephews, and cousins beyond us will have not only our stories to share, but their own stories as well.
Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I've never blogged before. So its going to be a bit of a learning process for me.
Guidelines for posting are: Please identify yourself, state where you are in the world,(not necessarily living there, you might be on vacation or traveling for business or away at college etc.) and time/date and sign(type) your first name at the end of your post i.e., Love, Linda or however you would like to personalize your post entry. When you mention other people, state their name or relation to you. As it would be helpful to future generations. On your first few post you may want to tell a bit about yourself and where you sit on the family tree. Your post can be long or short and as many times a day or week or month as you wish. Parents please assist the children and encourage them to post family stories as well. We would also like to keep the blog in an uplifting tone.

'The BEGS'. This little tag came about during the 1950's bringing together the Burtons, Eatons, Grahams, and Schneiders. The tag would always make its way onto a birthday or Christmas gift reading 'Love, The BEGS', meaning that it was a gift from all of our families to the receiver. As is this blog, a gift from all of us to you.

Love, The BEGS :)

Quite the story teller are you. Well, it makes for good reading. I may remember a few things that I have forgotten in these readings. I forget everything.
